What's better than dropping the top on your roadster on a warm summer evening? Well, depending on the amount of
snow on the ground and the temperature, having a hardtop with a defroster may actually be better. A roadster
with a removable hardtop may be the finest automobile type ever invented...
I purchased my hardtop from a local Spec Miata shop for a very very nice price. The top came from a customer
that couldn't pay for some maintenance work, so he offered the hardtop off his 99. Great deal for me. The only catch was that
it came in Emerald green. A quick trip to a painter and $200 produced a matching Montego hardtop for Sharka. The
paint matches very well. Check out the following pix.

2006: Here's something a little different. Not every day you see a Miata and an S2000 posing with their hardtops.

2006: The lines of both cars are really accentuated by the hardtops. They look somehow sportier, if that's even possible.

2006: No, I didn't buy an S2000. It belongs to a buddy. These were taken after finishing the S2000 hardtop install. Looks great!

2005: A freshly washed car and hardtop. The matching color and stripes really change the look of the car.

2005: The rollbar you see through the rear window is a Harddog Hardcore non-hardtop model. The hardtop fits fine!

2005: Playing with the field depth on my camera to blur the background really makes the car pop.

2003: Right after I picked up the hardtop. It's still painted emerald green, but looks pretty good.

2003: The top of my parking structure is a great place for photos.

2003: Sharka parked in his stall, one level under the roof.
