April, 2005, marked Albuquerque's second "International" auto show, and I was there with my camera. Nevermind that
it took me like 7 months to post the pix... Some interesting cars, some interesting carshow hoochies. Lots of
domestic-type concept cars, not a lot else. For a second year, it was pretty good. I'll undoubtedly go next year.
Mazda had two cars this year, an old Miata and an old RX-8. Not very exciting...
One of the Ford GTs present.
Another Ford GT. This one was showing off some naughty bits!
As mentioned, the naughty bits.
The SS Concept was pretty tasty. The presenter wasn't too bad either.
The Bengal Concept wasn't too bad either. A step up from the Solstice, I think.
A Shelby something (Cobra?) concept. Very strange looking.
The girl presenting didn't really know anything and didn't have much of a crowd...
... so I talked her into opening it up. Then the crowd gathered.
Concept Bronco. My pick for best-of-show. Retro drips off of it!
JCW Mini. Carbon fiber-y goodness.
Isn't there a law against Jeeps ever being this clean?
Strange Jeep thingy. It was big.
